Barry and I went to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu today. There was a lot packed into the main exhibition hall. I went round twice, once with wide-angle lenses, and then with a short tele to pick out details. The bikes are, from the top: Triumph Bonneville; Manx Norton and others, with books of the time; Rudge-Whitworth 500, a 100mph race bike; Honda 750/4 from the 1970s; the six-cylinder 1000cc CBX engine; Moto Guzzi 850cc engine and the AJS 350 ohv 'Big Port' engine from 1927.
