Duxford Air Show

Two days helping to make money to keep Concorde and the other airliners in good nick.  At noon on both show days Concorde lowered her nose to 17.5 degrees.  Re-enactors were much in evidence.

Dragon Boat Racing

On the Cam at Fen Ditton a multitude of rowers in comic costumes, ten to a boat, with a drummer and professional steersman, raced these boats over a 200 metre stretch of river.  The prize for Best Headgear went to the Linton Quacks, medics from the health centre at Linton.

New Admirals

We went to Gamlingay woods again, and when the sun came out so did the butterflies - Blues, Whites, Speckled Wood, Peacock, and several pristine Red Admirals, ready to overwinter as butterflies rather than chrysalids.  Hornets were hunting, fast and always on the move until they caught something, when the would land under a leaf, out of sight of our lenses.

Second Cousins

We visited Finley and Hannah, who are Sadie and Meredith's second cousins.  Everybody wanted to drive the tractor, and Sadie and Hannah got on very well, both being quite serious little girls.  They loved falling off the space hoppers, too.
