Ann, Peter and I went to the racing together, as there were queues at the petrol stations and Peter couldn't get any for his car or his scooter. Saturday was mostly overcast and we started off at Hall Bends. The Morgans competed in the sidecar events, so they had to carry a passenger. The bikes were faster off the line but the Morgans turned in faster lap times. Pic no. 2 is a Moto Morini V-twin; no. 4 is a Matchless; no. 5 the same Morgan; no. 6 a Triumph twin, one of the few non-BMW K-series sidecar combos. In the last pic a geezer gets a push back to the pits after shunting his combo. The day saw a lot of red flags but no serious injuries. Cadwell as ever a magical location for bike fans and families alike.
