Jonathan and Sue joined us yesterday and we had a Wetherspoon's meal. It was good value, so we went back for breakfast today, then set out to show them the city. From the top: Ken Dodd's statue in Lime Street Station; War Memorial and Prince Albert's statue outside St George's Hall; fountain outside the Central Library (dating from 1877 - Liverpool did not become a city until 1880); small Celt outside the Library; Epstein's 'exceedingly bare' statue on Lewis's store in Lime Street.
