With Alan McGilveray to the Baie de Jaonneuse nature reserve, next to one of the island's rubbish tips. There were ravens and great black-backed gulls, and more redstarts. Next the Houmet Paradis reserve on the east coast, but it was cut off by the tide. I got a good photo of the Brehon Tower, and then we found the inland reserve of Le Marais (the Marsh) hidden among houses, and it had two hides, one of which showed us this coot.
