Our day in Lincoln began with a coffee and a Halloween biscuit, then we explored Steep Hill (good choice of name) and found this bust of George III inside the castle. It was on an 'inland lighthouse' used to guide people across the flat lands, but was removed in 1941 in case RAF aircraft hit it. The castle and cathedral were more expensive than such attractions in other places.
