The day dawned crisp and clear, with lovely golden light, so we walked from our metro stop at Dupleix to the Bir-Hakeim bridge, which commemorates the first action by Free French forces in WW2. The bridge has separate lanes for cars, bikes, pedestrians and the metro, which vanishes into the canyon on the Right Bank. Ann photographed outside another well-statued building, where the tent was placed. Further along the Bank, some classy boutiques.
