Air Show Cancelled

I'd planned to go to the Race Day Air Show at Old Warden today, but yesterday afternoon they cancelled it.  From the top two photos you can see why.  The rain was travelling sideways and the grass runways were sodden.  I took Sadie and she brought her camera.  Although she's been to the Swiss Garden before, and to the museum with the Brownies, this was her first chance to compare it to Duxford.  In one of the pictures she is standing beside an airship propeller which must have been twelve feet in diameter!  She commented on all the oil drip trays under the engines of the cars, bikes and aeroplanes on display.  The staff today were very cheerful and chatty.
