As the days blend into one another, I missed our anniversary today. We did what we usually do, we went out to photograph things. This time it was Gamlingay Wood, where we found four mint-condition Silver-Washed Fritillaries desperate for their conjugal rights and dashing around madly. Blackfly crowded onto flowers like people in the newly-opened 'non-essential' shops. I was trying to capture Hoverflies hovering, and found at the edge of one frame a Blackfly in flight. All pix with flash.
