Had I Told The Sea

This poem on a wall in a disused WW2 bunker at Dovercourt seemed a bit classy for graffito, so I checked it out, and it's part of a poem called In the Summer by Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani (1923 - 1998).  It reads:  Had I told the sea what I felt for you, it would have left its shores, its shells, its fish, and followed me.
