The Austin Princess celebrated its 40th anniversary at the BMW Mini factory at Cowley today. The cake was cut by Harris Mann, who designed the car (and the Triumph TR7) in the radical 'wedge' shape. Although only eight cars were present at eleven o'clock, three more turned up by lunchtime, out of one hundred or so still registered with DVLA. Peter's car is V registered one in the foreground of the top picture.
