Points to Consider

Changing the distributor on Molly Midget from points and condenser to electronic.  First thing was to label each plug lead one to four ... but the tippex flaked off the rubber as soon as we pushed the insulators onto the plugs.  The old (gold) coil was replaced with the new (red) coil with much swearing about the difficulty of access to the bolts, of which moving the heater air intake pipe was the simplest.  The new system of numbering the plug leads worked better.  The bolts for the distributor clamp were hard to get to when the dizzy was in place, and the clamp bolt is hidden behind the metal oil pipe you can see in front of the dizzy.  Peter tidies up the wiring and prepares to check the timing after the engine started first time.
