Masked Meanderings
On the Park and Ride bus we had to wear masks, but in the street few people seemed to bother. There were queues outside John Lewis's, but the city was not busy. The nice barista in Nero's on Grafton Street gave us a mask each. The temporary pavement-widening is a good idea. The emergency will not be with us for ever.

De Havilland Dove
Back to Duxford for the first time since mid-March to collect my PPE. Work is proceeding to the safe queueing and viewing around and inside Concorde, with a ticket machine and and a P.A. system to enable the steward to address those inside the aircraft. I took the opportunity to photograph 'my' Dove for the details. Note the asymmetric elevators!

House Martins
Today we took Meredith to Welney and she was trying to photograph house martins in flight and Swallows inside the hide! After a big tantrum she settled down to try again and again. We both had sympathy for her - these birds are difficult enough with fast equipment and software tricks like Pro-Capture.

Welney
Not a lot of action at the Washes: two Cranes, a busy Common Tern and lots of Swallows and House Martins. Good company for us with Barry and Sue.

Feeding Station Visitors
Top tit is a Coal, bottom one a Blue, both juvenile. Second down is a juvenile Blackbird - its parent was not an acrobat when it came to collecting suet, but it gave a clear warning of an approaching Jackdaw. The pale bird is a young Robin.
