Cats at the Zoo

We visited Hamerton Zoo today.  They have provided a bigger tiger enclosure and all the animals look lean and healthy.  Much education is obviously being done (top).  Pic.no. 4 is of a serval, and no. 5 is a Spanish lynx.

Welney

A quiet day at Welney, with the star attraction being no less than thirteen cranes.  An RAF C130 with a crane painted on the tail flew across, and a couple kestrels foraged, along with two female and one male marsh harrier.

Last Races of the Year

Peter and I took the MGs to Snetterton.  In spite of the forecast, the weather was showery until about 11 am.  After that it cleared up and the clear afternoon light on Coram curve made me regret not having brought a long lens.  We saw some real racing, too, with drivers going for it and often throwing the cars at the scenery.
