Tall Ships

Down to the river by train on Sunday to see the tall ships.  The Woolwich end of the festival was not easy to photograph, so we hopped on a bus to Greenwich.  Much more going on there.

The History Bug

We took Meredith and Thomas to the Cambridge Folk Museum to photograph among the old toys on the top floor.  

Paxton Pits Haul

A CCC introduction of new members to the Pits.  We saw a Green Woodpecker and a Blue Kingfisher, but little else apart from this Gatekeeper butterfly and an unidentified spider.

We walked round the conserved fields at Comberton and found Small Copper (top) an impressive spider, a Southern Hawker dragonfly and a Brown Argus.
