It snowed in the village between 7 and 10 pm last night. By 11.30 when we got out (schools were closed) the snow was beginning to melt and losing its crispness, but still looked good.

Light Trails
An evening at the People's Hall with Martin energetically swinging and spinning lights for us. Most of these images were made with exposures of about 20 seconds, the aperture being f/5.6 or f/8 at ISO 200.

It's the Pits Again.
A chilly but sunny day at Paxton. There was an active Great White Egret and half a dozen Littles. We clocked a Sparrowhawk waiting around in a tall tree and a Jay in flight, as well as Kingfishers crossing the water. The two Mallards had hold of each other and were spinning in circles in the water.

Alles in Ordnung
I was due to take Meredith and Karl to Duxford, but Bug had a bad flu, so it was just Karl. He rushed around everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed himself, even though Mum had left his bockwurst out of his lunch. Giles allowed him into the flight deck of the BAC 1-11 (top), and I allowed him into the Trident.

Philm Noir
A Film Noir evening at Toft People's Hall used much shadow effect. This is one of my set-ups; me photographed with my camera after others had tried it.

50 + 35 + 1
It's fifty years since I first went to Snetterton Circuit, about thirty-five since I first took Peter and today was the first time Sadie had been. She took a lively interest in the racing in spite of a strong wind, and we watched from various points around the track and saw the pits.

Isla and Flora
Ian's dogs Isla (black) and Flora (white) come for their first visit since before the pandemic. Isla is now five and Flora three years old. Sadie has a device that fires small treats. Both dogs are working Labradors.

In and Around the Pits
Peter wondered whether an orange 911 would be better than a new kitchen for Holly. Perhaps fortunately it was not for sale. Nor was the Daimler Dart, which has a 'mixture' control instead of a choke. The racing 911s seem to have the oil filler and filter on the bodywork instead of the engine block. I'm not sure what engine that white trike had, but there were four (large) exhausts at the back.
