Last Hobby of the Year

We took Meredith to Lackford today for some Children's Activities.  Then she came to the hide, where she was quiet and well-behaved, but too late for the Kingfishers, which flashed through.
We saw the last Hobby chasing birds as there were no dragonflies to be seen.  Bug did see a Nuthatch in the wood.

Snetterton - 46th Year

Offloading Morgans after an oil spill, the Ashton brothers Jack (98) and William (97) neck and neck lap after lap in their MG Metros, and early evening light down the Senna Straight as the hottest Spridgets went for it.  I first went to Snetterton in 1972.  The journey is now much easier and the circuit (and loos) incomparably more salubrious.  Thanks for driving me, Peter.

Paxton Pits

Some luck today with Ann's help on the Kingfisher and spotting the Cormorant with the pike being mobbed as it took a long time to get the fish head first down the gullet.
