Fowlmere Famine

A perfectly-camouflaged snipe, a posing mallard and geese flying the circuit were all we could find at Fowlmere yesterday.  The migrants are queueing on the French coast, and even the fieldfares cannot return to Scandinavia against this cold east wind.
