Sadie is woken up from sleep on Boxing Day and counts her toes to make sure they're all still there, watched by Yojojo and Lau-Lau. On 27th she is out for a walk with Mummy.

Her daddy put the kitchen together without any swearing, and it was an instant success. It has an oven on one side and a dishwasher on the other. (What will a girl grow up expecting?) And there is a fish to put in the frying pan and a tin of soup.

Beach Road





This is the road at Happisburgh that is falling into the sea. Six houses were scheduled for demolition, and show signs of having been vacated in a hurry. The back garden in the third pic has almost gone, and the white bungalow is the last house left on the street.

Early Christmas Prezzie



Sadie's uncle and aunt Steve and Jules are off to New Zealand for Christmas, so they gave Sadie her present early, a lovely poncho. She pretended to be playing a pan pipe, but it was a red pen!
