The Museum of Berkshire Aviation





The museum (a large tin shed) is all that is left of one of England's oldest airfields, Woodley, near Reading.  It has the unique Fairey Jet Gyrodyne, the precursor of the Rotodyne.  There is a lot of history of Miles Aircraft and Gannet props, plus an almost complete Westland Wasp/Lynx/Scout, of which the above is the cockpit.
