All Saints, Haslingfield

Another large church with no pews.  And no west window.  There is a modern-looking organ as well as a piano.  In the chancel there are two substantial memorials to the Wendy family.  The first, Dr Thomas Wendy, who died in 1560, was Royal Physician to Henry VIII, Mary I and Elizabeth I, and others were MPs and knights.  The single figure is of Sir Thomas Wendy, who died in 1673.
