Painted Ladies



Sadie and Meredith went to the Gransden Show today and were painted up as a Mermaid and a Dalmatian respectively.  Bits around the mouth were wiped off when removing choccy ...

Bea Gets Gapped


Peter and I checked Bea's valve clearances and renewed the rocker cover gasket.  The plugs were out because we were turning the engine over by hand.  We checked and topped-up the gearbox oil, too.

Kensal Green Cemetery dates from the mid-C19th and has graves and mausoleums of the great and the good, from Indian Army generals and royal princesses to Anthony Trollope and Charles Babbage.

The Day Before The Show





The Friday before an air show is usually a good day to visit an airfield, but today was not busy at Duxford.  It was sunny but windy - up to 23 mph gusts.  The aircraft with folded wings is a Grumman Wildcat, known to the British as the Martlet.
