The Day Before The Show

The Friday before an air show is usually a good day to visit an airfield, but today was not busy at Duxford.  It was sunny but windy - up to 23 mph gusts.  The aircraft with folded wings is a Grumman Wildcat, known to the British as the Martlet.

In The Hangars

All from the American Air Museum except the centre image, from Hangar 5.

Classic Car Show

Went with Peter to Peterborough for a small show with some interesting cars, but it began to rain heavily at 12.30 so we drove home.
