Although motor racing has been going on with spectators for a couple of months, only now have the pits been opened to everyone. The difference is amazing! Today there were long races - forty minutes on average, and only one Safety Car - once the marshals had sorted out the flags. The oddities were a RHD Sunbeam Rapier and an immaculate Datsun 240.
