A sunny afternoon yesterday at Old Warden, where time seems to stand still. From the top: the Comper Swift, with its reduction-geared Pobjoy Niagara engine, the sole-surviving Parnell Elf, the Avro Tutor and, after a forced landing with engine trouble a couple of years ago, the little Bristol MC2 is back in the air.
