Treecreeper
Seen at RSPB Fowlmere and photographed with a (borrowed) Canon 300mm f/2.8 + 2x converter. That's 600mm focal length, 1/200th at f/5.6 hand held !! Total weight of combo 3.8kg. The lens is superb (thanks, Brian) and the stabilisation is awesome.

Anzani Engine
This little three-cylinder engine carried M. Bleriot across the Channel a hundred years ago. It produced 24 bhp at 1,500 rpm from just over 3 litres.

Another Red Kite
Not content with using his airbrakes, the pilot of this glider at Old Warden today was sideslipping. Short landing, no need to be towed back to the start!
